  1. Shame I live about 50 miles away from Manchester.

    Monday Can't come fast enough...

  2. Arrrgh! I'm nearer 300 miles away!

I will no doubt have another forlorn trawl around my local branch today, although seeing as the "out Monday" sign was there yesterday I'm not holding out much hope!

  3. Yay, just got my email from hmv that mine has been dispatched.

  4. I went in mine on the off chance (no such luck) and reserved mine. Sounded like they didn't have many in...

  5. *sigh* Despite my best efforts, I'll have to wait till Monday too... I'm about 200 miles away from Manchester so that's not gonna happen.

Just popped in to my local HMV, just in case, and was told Monday again. Ditto Zavvi...

I also risked the hell-hole that is Woolworths, just on the off chance. Won't be doing that again in a while if I can help it!

  9. LOL, Stigmurder! Woolworths! What a dump (every branch!). your "one stop shop" for tatt, crap, pick"n"mix sweets and JML cleaning products. Do you have a Wilkinsons where you are?

  10. It's not out in the US, which we all know is the only country that matters.

    :D

  11. Zeph: Out in Washington, D.C. does that count? : )

  12. Nope, the US is way too big for one city to count. We need a mass release at somewhere like Best Buy. Though, I'd be happy if it just came out at my local record store. Fuck the rest of the country.

    :D

  13. Oh, and by the way, Craig, I really do love your blog. You deserve sainthood for your tireless work for Cure fans around the world. You heard anything about when Robert is going to be posting answers to the Q&A thing?

  14. Thank you Zeph. I'm guessing the Q&A will be a big part of the new Cure.com, and I would think that would be up no later than Monday or Tuesday. Just a guess, though.

  15. Yeah, it'll be nice to have a new site. I've always hated the art for "The Cure," and am painfully looking forward to a better band page.

  16. pjw, you're so right about Woolies; I think I was the only person in there not consuming a McFlurry or downing gallons of Pepsi...

We're unfortunate enough to have a Wilkinson's too. God, it's like the Jeremy Kyle Road Show, that place.

  17. I know too many people who work for Wilkinsons...

You know what each of those people have said to me at some point? "Don't buy anything from Wilkinsons".

They know it's all crap but can't do anything about it.

  18. Why do they always seem to release Cure stuff early in Manchester but not in London?! :'(

My local HMV in Islington are fuckin' rubbish they said they're not even ordering any in! :S

And every time I ordered the singles in for the 13th to make sure they had 'em I ended up having to go to HMV Oxford Circus or Zavvi 'cause they're shit! If something comes out on any other day than a Monday they can't handle it! Amateurs!

Woolworths?! Haha don't make me laugh. Who buys MUSIC or pretty much ANYTHING at Woolworths. Oh yeah...erm CHAVS!

Wilkinsons?! Oh dear, it gets worse.

    What's wrong with McFlurrys?!
