  1. It's an interesting article, but there's a lot of misinformation in there. The Killing an Arab sticker wasn't introduced during the first Gulf War. I was a fan in the 80's and I remember the sticker still being on there. The updated singles collection, Galore, naturally wouldn't have the song because it only included singles from 1987-1997. Lastly, I don't remember KOA ever being dropped from their live sets for an extended period of time, though they did briefly experiment with the "Killing Another" title.

    1. Actually, Arab was dropped from the sets for an extended time twice.

It was played Jan. 17th,1991 at the T&C show, then dropped for the The Wish Tour, only being played once. It made a small comeback in 95, being played at 3 of the 11 shows that year, and then returning as a standard track on the 96 Swing Tour.

It was played on October 21, 2000 in Brisbane, Australia, and then not played again for 5 years. It returned on August 20, 2005 in Taormina, Italy, and was a standard track once again on the 4Tour, though it was the Killing Another version.

Didn't get played as Killing An Arab again until the Reflections shows in 2011.

  3. I purchased Standing On A Beach visiting the US in 1990 and recall it having the sticker on, while in my home UK it didn't. I'm not sure it ever has either.

I'm still puzzled that despite the valiant defence of KAA put up over the years, plus the bands anti-censorship stance (and there is a video of I believe Simon discussing this) that they chickened out and kept it off the 3IM remaster.
